A Splash of Pink

Brrrrr… it’s cold and snowy, it’s most definately winter. I like a little snow here and there but I’m really hopeful for an early spring!  A splash of color is a fun way to break away from the bleak winter days. Pink is my favorite color. Pink can have a calming effect and can help ease symptoms of depression and anxiety. Sometimes, a bright pink can be a little challenging to pair or even a little intimidating. I’m not one to shy away from brights, especially pink. Let the vibrant color speak for itself by combining it with a shade that’s toned down. By pairing with a neutral shade, it’s much more wearable.

Can we take a minute and talk about Hunter boots? The rain boot, the ever popular Wellington’s that even the royals and everyone else under the sun that’s been sporting them. I’m in love with mine and even with the endless colors and styles, I still gravitated towards the bright pink pair. No regrets in getting a bold hue at all, I’ve worn these on repeat at least a dozen times now. Living in Seattle, rain boots are a must have. Yes, it’s true, it’s always raining in Seattle. It rains over 150 days out of the year and you can bet I’ll be wearing them a lot! Do you own a pair of hunter rain boots? Which color is your favorite?
