It was heartwarming to see the streets of my city line with Korean flags. It’s been a difficult past couple of weeks with the Novel Corona Virus spread, so to see such display of unity and strength, made me so proud of my heritage.
As of today, the number of cases in Korea has reached over 4000. The mask shortage is still in full effect. There has been hundreds of mass lines of people waiting to purchase masks. As of today, my city Songtan, has yet to receive any.
Throughout all of this, I have hope and faith that this will be under control. Time will only tell if this will come sooner rather than later. Until then, I will do my best stay protected and continue smiling, knowing that eventually, there will be an end to this.
My wish for you all, please stay safe and be prepared. This has spread globally and my prayers and thoughts are with everyone.
